For PV Sindhu, the old man crossed the limits of madness, threatened to be kidnapped

India's star badminton player PV Sindhu turned 25 today, i.e. on 5 July 2020. Sindhu is the only Indian player to win the Badminton World Championship. He achieved this feat last year. After Saina Nehwal, Sindhu is the only player who has millions of fans. One of them is a fan who crossed all limits to marry him. Actually, a 70-year-old fan from Tamil Nadu had expressed his desire to marry Sindhu. He also threatened to be kidnapped for not doing so.

Last year, a 70-year-old man from Tamil Nadu named Malayasamy filed an application to get married to Sindhu. People were shocked after knowing this. Malayasamy said he would kidnap the badminton star if necessary arrangements were not made to marry Sindhu. During the Januswai in the Collectorate, the Collector was also given a letter with a picture of Sindhu and herself. The collectors were also surprised to see this.

The elder claimed in his letter that he is not a 70 year old but a 16 year old boy. He is born on 4 April 2004. After this the Collector office rejected his application. It was then officially stated that the mental state of the elderly would be examined. Sindhu, who won the silver medal in the Olympic Games, made history last year. He defeated Japan's Nozomi Okuhara in the final of BWF Badminton World Championship-2019.

It was Sindhu's 5th medal in the World Championship. She was the second female player in the world to do so. He won 1 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze medals. Sindhu won the silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics. After this, he also won the gold medal in the mixed team event at the Commonwealth Games 2018 (Gold Coast). Apart from this, she has also won a silver and a bronze medal at the Indus Commonwealth Games.
