Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday said that the “corruption washing machine” is on, after Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Ajay Chautala was given a call after the BJP's support for the formation of the government in Haryana. “All India corruption washing machine is on,” he tweeted, citing news related to the furlough being approved. “”
Targeting the BJP government over the same issue, Rohan Gupta, the head of the social media department of the Congress, said, “This is New India, friends! Everything becomes possible as soon as the chair is in danger! There is no Qaeda, no law, only there is a passion to save power! ”Significantly, the BJP and the JJP have decided to form a government in Haryana. In this government, the BJP will be the Chief Minister and the JJP quota will be the Deputy Chief Minister.
It is worth mentioning that two weeks furlough of Ajay Chautala, father of Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala has been approved. Ajay Chautala has been lodged in Tihar Jail since he was convicted in the teacher recruitment scam. Interestingly, today, with the support of Dushyant Chautala's party JJP, BJP has claimed to form government in Haryana. In the recently concluded assembly elections, it was slightly behind by a majority.
Dushyant met his father in jail a few days before meeting his ten MLAs on Friday to support the BJP. He will be sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister in the Manohar Lal Khattar government on Sunday. Officials said Ajay Chautala is likely to come out of Tihar Jail on Sunday. According to Director General (Prisons) Sandeep Goyal, Ajay Chautala has been given a furlough for two weeks and it will begin on the same day he exits the jail premises. Ajay Chautala is survived by his father and former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala. They are in jail together.
