He held a meeting with the heads of the three municipal corporations in the capital today along with Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and CM Arvind Kejriwal and reviewed the situation in Delhi. After the meeting with Amit Shah, Mayor Avtar Singh from North Delhi said – At this time our whole emphasis is on driving away Corona from Delhi. Our hospital beds, ventilators and other medical facilities are fully prepared for every condition. Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, a record 293 corona cases were reported in one day. Now the number of total infected in the state has crossed six thousand.
Medical Education Minister K.K. Sudhakar on Sunday made it clear that there is no question of putting lockdown in the state now. Talking to news agency PTI, Sudhakar said, “Now there is no question of lockdown in front of us. The speculation has already started before the Prime Minister will attend a video conference with the Chief Ministers on 16 and 17 June. We will join the conversation on June 17 at 3 pm. He told that in this meeting the state of the state will be discussed with PM Modi. ” Significantly, earlier, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain have also said that the lockdown will not be extended further.

However, in spite of so many cases, there are 11 states / union territories in the country, where there are less than 500 cases, whereas, in 8 states, no one has lost their lives.
States-UT which have less than 500 cases include Manipur, Ladakh, Chandigarh, Puducherry, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Dadra-Nagar Haveli and Daman-Diu. At the same time, if we talk about the most affected states in the country, then the situation in Maharashtra is quite bad. More than three thousand infected have been found here for the third consecutive day. With this, the number of victims has now reached 1 lakh 4 thousand in the state. At the same time, the number of dead has now increased to 3830 with 113 new deaths in 24 hours. Maharashtra accounts for more than one-third of the country's total deaths and infections.
Tamil Nadu ranks second among the infected states, where 1989 new infected have been detected in a single day. With this, the number of victims in the state has now reached 42 thousand 687. Delhi is at number three with 38 thousand 958 cases. However, if we compare the deaths in Tamil Nadu and other states, the situation in Tamil Nadu is much better. 397 people have died in Tamil Nadu as compared to 1449 in Gujarat at number four and 1271 in Delhi at number three.
